Mixing up the Forums a bit?

How would everyone feel if we broaden things up?

I noticed in the "Other" conspiracy forum, there's a bunch of threads about things like earthquakes, global warming, etc. Perhaps I could create a new "Geological" forum as a place for those types of threads?

Also, I noticed the "Existence" forum isn't getting many either, how about I broaden that one up to and just rename it to "Philosophy" forum or something?

Or are there any other major conspiracy fields that we might be missing out on?

Any Thoughts on this? How do these changes sound?

In the other forum, sub forum "Personal", I'd leave that there
if it's meant to encourage people with personal ghost or alien
contacts or encounters to post about them.

The existence forum is kind of corny. I'd just get rid of that one.
You can always replace it with something else if and when you
come up with a better subject or if one is suggested.

I like all the rest of them though.

One final thought i had is maybe changing the political forum
to Government Conspiracies since this is what these forums
are all about. We really don't post in that forum to discuss
every political issue the government talks about but more about
conspiracy issues pertaining to the governments of the world.
Politics is just a part of it.

Yeah, that's what it's meant for, and most people who enjoy conspiracies probably have something personal they'd like to share.

I originally thought that one would be more popular than it is right now, guess not .

You think we should just get rid of the sub-forum entirely (and not even have a philosophy section)?

Actually, I think politics is more broader than just government conspiracies, as it's also a place for historical ones, assassinations, etc., the two can be easily intertwined, IMO.

The word philosophy, may steer people away from that forum.
It sounds like it's only for the college educated folks.

It's up to you but you could just leave the existence forum there
and wait until you get more posters here to see how well it does.
To me though, i thought it was kind of corny and isn't something
i'd spend a lot of time posting on. But that me. Wait until you get
more responses on this before you do anything or at least wait
until all the other mods have had a chance to give their opinions.

I think that NWO/Illuminati/secret societies should have it's own section, as well as 9/11. There's such a huge amount of information available on both topics, and being in the political section doesn't really do them justice. Other than that it's good as is, IMO.

So do you guys think having a small philosophy niche would drive away members? (Say move it to miscellaneous category.) Because both Philosophy and Conspiracies are about questioning the norm, what we believe, etc.

Or should we just move the one thread there into general and abandon the idea for now? I can see here now why it doesn't exactly "Fit" with the other types though.

As a sub-forum of the Political Forum? Or do you think just have a new forum entirely for it?

I would think by itself. There's just so much about secret societies in general that it should have its own category, plus with 2012 coming up, it could be important.

New Geological Forum

OK, I'm still thinking about the political forum and Bill's idea on what to do with it. I do see that there is a bunch of stuff about secret societies, but that also ties into politically themed threads. So maybe either just create a subforum for them, or rename the forum if we create a NWO/Secret Society Forum.

I'm trying to think of the best way to do this....
