The Antichrist

People have many different views about the antichrist. Some have said
that hitler could have been it but that didn't pan out to well. People are saying
that George W. Bush is the antichrist but i don't believe that to be the case.

I believe the bible says that who-ever the antichrist is, " he will be known and
loved by all". Bush nor hitler are loved by people to that degree.

I don't believe that the antichrist will be anyone that is associated much with
having caused great wars or people who posess great powers, such as world
learders like a president or a dictator.

It is in my opinion that the antichrist will be someone who associates himself
with God because this will be the person who is loved by all. If you haven't
figured it out by now, the person i refer to is no other than the pope.

For years now we have been hearing stories of how popes, past and present
have been hiding the truth from us about the origins of mankind, aliens and
about God. They have everything we need to know, locked up in their underground
vaults where no one can view them and not to many people are even aware of
all this information. In the meantime, these spiritual leaders of the world go around
maniputating the public and gathering a broader following of believers. These people
love these popes dearly and would follow them anywhere, even unto death.

Another reason i think the pope will be the antichrist is because after our current pope,
pope bennidict, according to a prophecy by St. Malachy, there will only be one pope
left to serve in the catholic church. There are to be no more popes after that one.

Many of you may not like infowars.com or alex jones but it was just by chance that
i found this info there. This is something i had also seen on tv many years ago to so
this isn't about alex jones but about the prophecy of St. Malachy.

Anyway, like i said before, this antichrist when first coming into power, will be loved
by all. He will perform maricle like the kind mankind has never witnessed before. He
will bring countries together to live in harmony together and the list goes on. Who
better fits that description than the pope?

Any opinions on this?

I think the most common Antichrist tale is that they come in threes. From what I've heard, they believe that Napolean was the first Antichrist, Adolf Hitler was the second, and the third has yet to reveal himself.

And this third one is the one who'll bring about World War III along with Armageddon and the New World Order towards the end of the war. That's the common consensus I feel, anyway. I have no idea who it could be though.

Where did you hear about the 3 antichrists.
Doesn't the bible only speak about one?

A show mentioned that the first two were like "test antichrists" or something, and the third one would be the "real one, worst one yet to come" and Satan actually possesses his body during the middle of the NWO's reign, which lasts about 7 years or so after WWIII.

It was on some Antichrist show on the History Channel, if I'm recalling it correctly (But then again I'm not sure if my story above is entirely accurate, I can't remember off-hand). There might be a couple of articles about it too online, I'll check once I get the chance.

Another guy i speak with on another forum mentioned
the same thing about 3 antichrists but i didn't pay to much
attention to it at the time. Now that you mentioned it, it has
me wondering where this information comes from.

As far as i know, the bible only speaks of one antichrist (KJV).
Maybe bibles from different countries with different religions
speak of more than one.

Upon investigating the antichrist, i found something in
I John 2:18 (KJV)

Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that the
antichrist was coming, so now many antichrists have appeared.
Thus we know this is the last hour.

So the bible does say there can be many antichrists.

Jews around the world do not follow the teachings of
jesus. They barely recognize that he ever existed. In
a sense, that makes them antichrists to. In a sense,
that would make anyone that doesn't follow jesus teachings
an antichrist but we should assume the antichrist is
going to be a very evil person.

I still say the last pope will be one of them, if not the
main antichrist. He will start out by seemingly looking
like a godly type person but in the end, he will have
deceived the multitudes. The pope has this kind of power
over people right now without even trying. Call me wrong
if you want but this is what i believe.

Antichrist simply means "Against Christ", or the teachings of Christ, so in my opinion, anyone who's not a Christian could technically be considered an "Antichrist".

I remember hearing about that popular theory too. The main Antichrist is suppose to be a "Great Deceiver" and people will think he is actually Christ for a brief period of time, when he claims he is Christ. I can definitely see the papacy as platform to execute that theory.

And that is exactly why i feel the last antichrist could be our last pope.
