An Israeli or U.S. attack against Iran?

It doesn't look like we won't have one for a little while yet, but still an interesting article .

I don't think america will attack iran because bush is already
in to deep with the other wars. If we go to war now, you can
kiss what is left of our economy good-bye. America can't take
starting another war.

I do think israel will attack, no matter what iran says about it.
I have nothing to back that up but given israels past actions
against palestine, i feel they will try the same tactics with iran.

The first time a nuke is used from either side then i believe that
america will join in and lob some nukes at iran to.

Yeah, I don't see one in the near future either. When it does happen, I think it will immediately usher in the beginning of WWIII

I personally don't think nukes will be used by any country unless it was a last option. If country uses nukes (not for testing, but in an act of warfare), then they have pretty much signed their death wish, as a fair few countries will come down on them like a ton of bricks.

Although you can never be sure what goes on in peoples minds.

I think that pretty much depends on israel as to use nukes or not.
I don't think america will want to use them because iran is another
oil source for them. I don't think america wants to invade iran to
steal their oil and have to work in a radioactive area.

Israel has already threatened to use nukes on iran but whether or
not they really use them is anyones guess.

And this will depend on who's in charge over there. Every country has it's share of radical political fringe groups who want to bomb the hell out of everything.

Hopefully nobody like that gets elected to power though.

I think that in israels fight to become a state, they in turn
became the terrorists. Now that america has armed that
country to the teeth, they must feel that they are the supreme
power in that area and they can do as they see fit. All in the
name of God who probably now disowns them.

I wouldn't exactly call them terrorists. Since they are in charge over there and are officially recognized by the U.S, U.N., etc., and terrorism is defined as violently opposing a government body of some kind, I'd call them oppressors.

Something just as bad as rouge rebels, probably worse.

If they start lobbing bombs at iran then in my mind, they are terrorists.
If iran is truly out to harm israel then israel should be over in iran trying
to negotiate a peaceful settlement instead of threatening them with
bombs. I haven't heard anything yet about israel trying to work things
out with iran. Maybe i missed it if they did but i haven't heard a word
from israel about peace talks.

Conflict of definition then I suppose . Funny thing about the English language though is that you can't truly define something without referring to a synonym.

I do see how they could be considered terrorists as well. They haven't exactly been peaceful with their Arab neighbors. So maybe they're considered terrorists abroad, and oppressors would refer to them domestically in this case.
