Saw this on Headline News
Direct link to CNN video Video - Breaking News Videos from CNN.com Youtube video, same thing YouTube - Jeff Peckman and Stan Romanek on Larry King Live. Stan Romanek web site The Stan Ranromanek Story This guy claims to have video of an alien peeking through his window from back in 2003. He says he has researchers and such looking over all his video's to prove they aren't fakes but it's been five years now and still no video to show the public. I'm not sure when he turn the videos over for study but if it's true, i hope it don't take another five years until we see them. Worse yet, the government usually steals evidence like that if it is real and it's never seen again. |

Ha, I remember seeing that on the news a few days back
.After re-looking at the video footage, I would have to say it's fake, the images were very blurry and it was difficult to make out just what it was at first. There's other things it could be too, like just a guy in a mask, or even just a round object, like a lamp or something. Plus as you said, if there was "real convincing" evidence it would most likely be confiscated, yet alone showing it on a *National* News Network. But on a side note, those re-enactments were as Funny as Hell! ![]() |

Yeah. There's another video on youtube almost about
the same thing except it looks like a mexican popping his head up and down from view. Funny stuff. I really don't know if it's fake or not because the guy held a town meeting about the subject. They even want to start a Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission, i guess in Denver. Here is a snippet from a news article about it. --------------------------------------------------------------- A Denver resident, Jeff Peckman, is attempting place a ballot initiative into the November election calling for an ordinance to create an 18-member Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission. According to the proposal, the 18-member ET commission would "create a responsible, common-sense strategy for dealing with issues related to the presence of extraterrestrial beings on Earth," among other tasks. Four thousand signatures are required. A support petition is located at: Support the Denver Ballot Initiative to Form an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission Petition "The evidence is irrefutable that there are extraterrestrials that have visited earth frequently," said Peckman, who believes the government is covering up encounters. Peckman's effort is reminiscent of state ballot initiatives in 1999 and 2000 in Arizona and Missouri by Robert Bletchman and Bruce Widaman. This time around there has been greater coverage with relatively straight articles in all major Colorado papers and numerous television segments. On May 30 Peckman held a press conference in Denver to discuss the Ballot Iniative and other matters. Those other matters included showing one of the Stan Romanek contact videos of an alleged alien looking through a window of Romanek's house. This was announced in advance and the media attention was nothing short of extraordinary. Peckman received calls from virtually every news talk show on network television. Whatever the media assessment of the Romanek video, the Ballot Initiative has now received broad attention which may insure the needed 4000 signatures are obtained. Also, the Romanek case can expect much more attention. As it happens all of this and the Denver ballot signature process will overlap with the Democratic Party Convention in August in Denver. A coincidence perhaps, but PRG applauds the strategy. |

I actually remember seeing this on digg last week, but never got around to seeing the interview.
The still doesn't actually prove anything and like James said, it could be a guy in a mask or even a lamp, and doesn't really prove anything. The re-enactments were classic ![]() |

I'm going to reserve judgment on this for now but i would
like to add a little piece of information to this subject. I was reading a book one day about an alien that abducted this guy - night after night. This guy knew something wasn't right because things were being moved around in his bedroom every time an abduction occurred, except he didn't know at that point he was being abducted. He was thinking maybe he had either some person coming into his room every night and moving things around to mess with his mind or maybe he had a ghost problem. He finally decided to try to video tape himself sleeping in his bed to see if he could identify who or what was happening at night. Upon waking, he still had the same problem. Things being moved around in his room. He checked his video camera and it had mysteriously shut off. This to happened every time he was abducted. He only found out that he was being abducted when he went to a psychologist for a totally different reason. After reading stories about other people trying to do the same thing (Record their rooms a night) and reading web pages about similar events, I found out that aliens can read your thoughts and they know a record is going before they even get into the room. Naturally, they some how shut it off before they arrive. If this is true then there is no way that Stan Romanek could have video taped an alien encounter. There are pictures and videos on the web where people claim to have gotten images of live aliens but it's hard to separate fact from fiction. |

Fake. The only reason this was put on CNN was because it was so obviously fake. The people being questioned were dodgy as hell when answering anything. Larry King asked why it's taken 5 years to release the video and also why they DIDN'T SHOW IT ON THE SHOW. And the dude's like "Well there's so much evidence that I wanted it thoroughly examined before showing the video in its entirety." Seriously bro. That's bullshit. He's had 5 years to get it examined by a professional. Why would you go on Larry King and not even show your video? Who cares who's looked at it and analyzed it? If they haven't fully analyzed it, then wait until you have before going on Larry King. They put stuff like this on the news to make these people look bad. I wouldn't be surprised if they were paid by the government to do that.

Since i haven't seen the real video, i have to reserve judgment.
To totally close your mind to the possibility is what the government wants you to do. You are right though. If it had been me, i would have put the video out for one reason only. The reason? If the video(s) are real, the government will be after them to take them away. If i got a whole lot of copies out to the public then that would stop the government from getting the proof needed to tell the story later on. This guy is taking a big risk by not getting his video out. |

There's probably a different ulterior motive that he's NOT releasing the tape to the general public:
Everyone would get access to the tape, including film and multimedia experts, who in turn would easily be able to prove the video is fake, thus destroying the guy's credibility. |

I see your point James but one thing doesn't make sense.
How can this guy get all this attention with only one shoddy picture of a supposed alien unless he does have more video? According to the story, he showed the video already to a bunch of reporters so if this guy was giving false information, i would think those reporters would step in and tell everyone that video was a hoax. I'm not saying he is telling the truth. I'm just saying that i'll keep an open mind to the possibility of it being real. |

Are they planning to release the video any time soon? I'd be interested to see it. Honestly the guys being interviewed seemed very shady and dodgy about the whole thing. You can tell by the pauses and repetition of points that don't even answer the question. They said the "well there's a lot of evidence involved" excuse like 3 different times as if that's what they were programmed to say. They sounded more like politicians than 2 guys that witnessed an Alien encounter. Why would they even put em on the show, if they can't show the video? So far, judging by their demeanor, I'd have to say it's almost certainly fake.... unless they really are preparing us for the big revelation of alien life.

What i don't know, maybe because i missed it or they didn't say, is
at what date did they turn the video over to be examined. If after waiting five years and then he decided to have the film examined then it will be a while before we see any of it. If he turned the video over five years ago then all the examinations of it should have been done by now and the video should be made public. |

.I'd assume they just pick and choose who they want to interview, and for some reason, they chose him. I'd say he was chosen because of the simple fact nobody would take him (or his video) seriously. It seems like they're trying to discredit the whole UFO movement, SETI program, etc., if I were to pick a motive behind their action. |

Joe Rogan theorized that the reason behind "alien abductions" is a DMT-spike in their brains. Think about it. We know N,N-DMT is closely associated with sleeping/dreaming. And all DMT is doing is widening your creative floodgates, so if you get a DMT-spike while conscious your mind will become fully enveloped in this profound experience. Being abducted by "aliens" may just be the path your mind pursues. Others may see elves, dragons, fairies, mystical beings, what have you. Hell Shamans fully believe in the "invisible landscape"… So how do Shamans experience these "mystical visions"? Shamans simply gather vines and plants with high levels of N,N-DMT so they can make Ayahuasca brews.
And why would an alien spy on a sleeping human? Ha! By the way, I came across a video today that might interest some of you... There are many "alien" documentaries out there, but there is one in particular that interviews ex-military people who supposedly had experience with top secret governmental-"extraterrestrial" programs... that's where I first saw the video but I honestly can't remember name of the documentary.
