If you think about it a lot of things in our lives are jsut an illusion, some of them we wouldn't even really need if we weren't so supperficial. Time is the perfect example, can you explain what time is? I don't think so. Time was just made so we know when harvesting time is.

I've thought about this many times in the past. Just what is time? Where did it come from?
Without the existence of clocks and other chronological measuring instruments we wouldn't even know it's there. Is "time" just another word to describe a non-existent state? Time, as we know it, is the perception of accurately measuring a period of past, present, and future. I think the perception of time is required for all people to interact with each other. Without time we wouldn't know when to arrive at our dentist's appointment, watch your favorite TV show, or plan a date with some hot chick. What were we talking about??? ![]() Last edited by Moxxnixx : 04-25-2008 at 09:44 PM. |

I think time is exactly as you described it Lance, a measurement.
It's similar to other measurements, could you describe what exactly an "inch" or "pound" is? Instead of measuring a solid state of being, it measures a length of moments, happenings, time, etc. It's just a way for us to keep track of when we have to do things. |
