History's Mysteries: The great Pyramids and the Sphinx

This was originally aired on Discovery Channel. First it explains the Pyramids and their relationship to Orion as well as the earth's dimensions, and much much more. After that it goes into the Sphinx and how geologists have determined that rain erosion on the Sphinx shows that it could very well have been built during a time when Egypt has had heavy rain. The last time this happened was around the end of the last ice age. 12,000 BC and onward. It was also the age of leo at this time and the Sphinx just so happens to line up with the constellation Leo at that time in history.

I never really bought into the whole "Pyramids were built with primitive technology" line.

Also the water erosion makes since, but isn't 5,000 years or so a short time for a drastic climate change like that? And bodies of water to all the sudden disappear?

It seems like there is little evidence to find this civilization, but according to scientists, in 10,000 BC Egypt and a lot of the middle east, had lots of bodies of water and rain. Something must have happened. Either a pole change / climate shift or perhaps some sort of weapon that eradicates all life including the water in the area. That would explain why there is hardly any evidence of the people.

i saw taht on the Discovery CHannel also (i LOVE history and discovery channel). Frankly alot has gone on on this planet that we will probably never know of. But if for some odd reason clouds stopped appearing around egypt for awhile then rain wouldnt appear and water would "leave" in a sense and all that. Domino effect. Also egyptians (ancient ones) where shown to ride giant ass crocs, i found taht interesting. supposably they rode them into war because they where amphibious beasts from hell ya know? but hey, everything can be left to speculation.
