What is the reason for this site? - Conspiracy-Forums

After reading your blog and now knowing that you have some
business college under your belt, i was wondering if you plan
to turn this place into something like the forums you just left?

There is nothing wrong with making money from the internet
but it would be a shame to rune this place with that type of
stuff.

However to answer your question, I wasn't planning on "turning" the forums into anything else. The only advertisements you'll notice I have on here are google adsense, which I originally put on to help pay for the hosting and other internet fees.

So, no, I wasn't going to change them into anything radically different than I have now.

I'm assuming here you were thinking about some spammy affiliate network that's only concerned with numbers like threads and posts counts and the like, don't worry, I don't plan on doing anything like that. Like we've discussed in the "Thank You" thread that the traffic hasn't been much, but IMO the quality is 10X better than most of the other forums I've seen on the net.

I didn't know i head a pm but i'll check it out.

Yeah. I was worried about the spam and such. It really sucks
when someone tries to take over a nice forum with their garbage.

Just out of curiosity, what would vBulletin cost if i were to
try my hand at running a site and how much does the hosting cost?

It all varies on what you're looking for

You can rent a vBulletin license for $79 for one year OR Purchase a lifetime vB license for $150 (I chose the latter).

Web Hosting also varies. There's tons of hosts you can choose from that offer all kinds of different packages. Right now I have a deal through hostgator that allows me to host all three of my websites for around $7 a month.
