For instance, imagine a paradigm shift simultaneously occurring around the world. What would be the most likely cause of this paradigm shift? Alien invasion? Don't think so. The "Savior" reborn? Eh. How about this one. RELIGION. What if irrefutable evidence came up which proved that all of the religious institutions in the world were created with a hidden agenda in mind? That would turn some heads and people would certainly not hesitate to give the eye of scrutiny. More could be discovered, thus a domino effect ensues. New World. Get what I'm sayin'?

And that it's the religions' themselves that cause lies to be conceived, despite the fact they were created based on universal truths? If I'm understanding correctly?

I would think that if anyone is capable of such despotism, it would have be a group that dated back way before Christ. Think of a group like the "Mysteries". Then, I assume, neophytes would carry on their occult agenda by whatever means necessary.
