Football Gods - Fact or Fiction - Conspiracy-Forums

Are there Football Gods and: Did the Football Gods really smite the Dallas Cowboys with a loss because Romo and company played in Mexico before their big divisional match-up? Did the Football Gods punish Indy for resting their starters? Then blessed the Pack, Patriots, Giants and Chargers for playing theirs? Will Belicheat lose in the end because the Football Gods won't condone cheating? Please let this be the truth!

Well, the Pats haven't lost yet, so I'll say that the football gods haven't smited them yet for some reason (despite alleged *cheating*).

I agree with jbjbw. The football gods were not pleased with the Pats. They LOST the big one. I do believe though that the fines levied Belichick and the Pats regarding their video taping other coaches signals is not sufficient. They cheated and they were fined a nominal fee compared to their revenue. At the least, Belichick should have been suspended several games. What kind of message is this sending to our youth? You can cheat, you pay a fine, you can get right back to business without any real "consequences."

Well it looks like the Football Gods are surely punishing Brett Favre and the Packers. I live in Wisconsin, so I naturally follow what's happening up here, and it's gotten VERY messy.

IMO, Packer Management has been handling this situation absolutely poorly, why don't they just release the guy and let him play?
