I just came back from some major intestinal surgery which was infected pretty bad (I mean emergency surgery for my life bad).
I knowthis post isn't much right now, but I'll probably update my latest blog post within the next day or two to tell everyone about it. |

Well. For now just rest up and get all the help you
need to over come your condition. When your able to answer this: Since your operation, does that mean your crones disease is cured now or was the operation more about correcting any damage that crones caused you? |

I don't personally know what your going through but
i know it isn't very fun. I knew this woman, now deceased that went through some intestinal surgery. She had something like 2 feet of her small intestines removed. I don't exactly know why she had to have it done, cancer maybe but she told me that food went right through her. She didn't have a bag attached to her like you do but when she had to go, she had to go quick. Her husband had to keep a port-a-potty in his van at all times because she got very little warning before she had to go. |

Your right, it's not fun at all, except for being able to be on the computer.
I have absolutely no warning of when I have to go. I'm guessing your friend had the large intestine reattached and just went normally, but since there was less intestine, the food went through her more quickly. |

Yes. Her remaining intestines where reattached but she didn't
have the bag like you do. If she couldn't make it to the potty in time then there was no other course but to let it go in her pants. She always made sure she was near a potty at all times. |

Yes, much better right now. I still have to go through daily bandage and bag changes, but they don't hurt anymore (I'm using a different kind of tape than before), so they're no problem.
And we also discussed what future steps to take with the doctor. It looks like I'm going to have reattachment surgery in the middle of September, and that'll require about a month of recovery time for when I'm felling 100% better. |
