Everyone is disappointed that Brett Farve retired, but why are we so sad aaron rodgers should be able to pull it off. Sure he's sat on the bench for practically the whole season, but he's been watching farve, and seen how he's played, so maybe he'll pick it up.

Do you think there was some sort of conspiracy as to why he retired?
Maybe it had something to do with Green Bay Packers GM Ted Thompson? He never seemed to be a big fan of him. Or maybe it involved the NFL in general? Although he was pretty much loved around the league, so I don't see why anyone would want him to make his exit so early. |

If there was a conspiracy by either Thompson or the Packers organization to oust Brett, he would have been gone the year after Rodgers was drafted, not three years later! They didn't oust him because Brett is such an icon that if they did, Packer nation (locally and nationally) would have been in an uproar.
