Faster than Light Travel - is it possible?

I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts about this.

There are different theories out there that pertain to forces such as warp speed, dark matter, etc. that may give us this possibility. What does everyone else think?

I've always been a fan of wormhole theories. Maybe I just watch too much Stargate though

I was watching a "The Universe" special on how space travel may one day work. It makes you wonder whether we are really more advanced than we should be.

Who knows, maybe some scientist from the 80's (or whenever) already discovered the invention of the hyperdrive, yet the government is suppressing this technology, for whatever dastardly reason. (I sure hope this isn't the case, but it is possible in my book.)
