Whilst trying to help cam girls I met online who turned out to be captive prostitues, I would sometimes converse with them whilst they spammed the yahoo chat rooms with porn links assumed to be 'bots'. Further down the road i discovered that yahoo are a largely mafia owned company. see here http://endmafia.com

Are you referring to the Russian Mafia? (As the site you linked to primarily hints at them.)

But I browsed through that site and didn't find any real mention of Yahoo "specifically" being owned by the mafia, just some history between them and the internet.

Yes Russian mafia, but also I've encountered European who cooperate with them along my way. You can use the search facility to find mentions of Yahoo. The Yahoo activity was a source of serious concern to me & i knew something was wrong. I've had confirmation of Mafia ownership from within Mafia ranks.
