Based on what I know about it, I think the reason that "junk DNA" is still there, so to speak, is because it is a part of what makes us human. I mean if we didn't have these "useless" genes, would we still be considered human?

But if it was stripped from us by some supernatural power (or aliens, either one), what exactly about it could "pose a threat" to them? We're already thinking and living by ourselves, with no need of alien assistance whatsoever as far as I can tell. Or if someone like God is the culprit, even then, more and more people are taking either atheist or spiritual paths.

I guess I'm just not seeing what "could" have been there that was so big that it had to be "removed".
