Some very good points there. I never knew the Sphinx was carved out of one big rock. I believe one of 2 things (well both could be true I guess).
1. The pyramids and Sphinx have been there LONG before the ancient Egyptians (who drew the paintings) and are actually remnants of a past advanced civilization.
2. Aliens did help them construct the pyramids, and possibly either enslaved the people or helped them. Either way, the people thought they were gods, so they listened willingly.
