I think that this was absolutely the case, and that the pyramids/sphinx are older than contemporary belief of 3500 years.

Briefly, there is another monument of proportions similar to these objects that is underwater off the coast of Japan, and it is said to be over 10,000 years old. I will post about that in another thread.

I’d like to focus my input here on the Sphinx, which adjoins the Great Pyramids, so I don’t think it is off-topic (I hope).

This monument is carved out of a single piece rock that measures over 200 feet long, 70 feet high, and 38 feet across the shoulders. It was placed carefully next to the Great Pyramids, and supposedly hid the tunnel entrance of the Great Pyramid’s tombs.

How do you suppose this was done?

Perhaps the base rock that makes the Sphinx was actually there originally, and it was sculpted on the site, but I have never read/heard anything like that. The area surrounding these things is far too barren of other large natural rock formations to think this is the case. And the pyramid’s blocks are said to be quarried from another different site too.

The 2 million blocks contained in the Great Pyramid all are roughly 2.5 tons each, with a some base blocks being larger and weighing around 15 tons each. They vary in size, but most are around 75 inches tall, by 100 inches wide, by 40 inches deep. Using these blocks’ size to weight ratio to scale the Sphinx’s weight would put it at several thousand tons. Could slaves alone have moved and placed this large of an object by themselves? This feat seems to me to be even more evident that some kind of outside knowledge/help had to have been used considering the tools and technology of the times. Even today, it would be a world class achievement to lift, move, and place this large an object in the Giza Plateau, where no inland water source is present. The largest cranes today are floating cranes on barges and the biggest one has a capacity of 14,500 tons (and requires water to float them to the lift site).

As for the “outside knowledge/help”, I am reminded of something strange from 1969 and the Manson Family. When officials found the family school bus/camper in a very remote (30 miles from any road) and inaccessible area (the cops couldn’t even drive 4 x 4’s or dune buggies to it) in Death Valley, they asked family members “How did Charlie get this thing out here?” Every person asked said that he “flew it there”….They had to remove it with a military helicopter.

There are arguments about how old these monuments are, and who actually built them, ranging from 2500 years BC (traditional view of Egyptologists, built by Pharaoh Khafre) and up to 10,500 years old (speculation, built by an advanced civilization such as Atlantians). If you consider some documentation (like the Bible) to be accurate, then they would have to be only around 5000 years old, as there is no mention of the Sphinx or Pyramids in the Bible. On the other hand, if you rely on them being built over 10,000 years ago by this “advanced culture”, then they would have been present during Biblical times and it’s writings/recording of events and would be in the Bible.

There are people like the prophet Edgar Cayce who have stated that the Sphinx is over 10,500 years old and that it conceals the “Hall of Records” under it somewhere, and that it holds the secrets and wisdom of the Atlantis civilization. There have been searches with new methods and tools like ground penetrating radar that suggest a large cavernous area below The Sphinx, just as described by Cayce, but the Egyptian authorities will not allow exploration to reveal it. Some say it has already been found, exploited, and is being kept secret intentionally. That’s another can of worms all together…

My belief: That some kind of “help” had to have been employed to get these monuments this large placed as precisely as they are, and where they are, and this "help” came in the form of alien visitors. By that I mean, if aliens were the actual “helpers”, they would certainly have had the ability to “float”, or “fly” something like this, just as they “fly” their crafts we all see today with a technology we have yet to understand (or maybe being kept secret; another can of worms). Also, we now see other monument-looking structures on other planets, like Mars and the “pyramids” and “faces” discovered there.
