Lew, they're illegal because of they are psychedelics. It's as simple as that. Anyone who was ever had a positive trip understands exactly why, too. DMT occurs naturally during sleep. Marijuana/Shrooms/Hemp -- ALL NATURAL, ALL COMPLETELY SAFE. I disagree w/ your statement that they're much harder to access. Marijuana is easier to come across than a prescription drug, like Xanax. The point was simple. If the kid knows the right sources and is determined enough, the kid will likely get what he desires.
Yeah, I understand the deal w/ no guardian, but it's a moot point. The legalization of certain drugs won't change that situation. What makes you think this is all for kids' protection, anyhow? In regards to one of the most pertinent issues in America, illegal immigration is left untouched. What does this say about the government? It's all for protection? Give me a break! It's the erosion of core liberties at it's finest.
