I went to a few catholic schools as a kid. I was accually thaught in my religion classes that the Bible was filled with contradictions and to not follow it to the letter. That the Bible, though the main focus of christianity, isn't a history book. It's not ment to be taken literally. Every time I talk with someone who takes it 100% literally they always dance around my questions about stories that contradict each other. Like noone can accually answer it. The first 2 stories of Genesis are 2 DIFFERENT stories of creation. They give different orders on how things were created. I ask someone about it that takes it literally and they quickly changed the subject. Some ppl i've asked start stuttering and making no sense in their explenation.
