Some of these ex government officials wait until they are their death
beds before they reveal everything they know. They were warned while
still working for the government that if they breathed a word of what they
knew to anyone, that the government would harm or kill their family members
or them personally. The where also told they would never work anywhere if
they said anything. They would be black-balled from the public work force.
Of course though, you already knew that.
